For the EP, bandleader and guitarist Mary Broadcast has created an alter ego: Aver is a strong woman who, after a stroke of fate, desperately sets out to find love and find her way back to life. Five episodes of the story have already been told.
The circle is complete: "Aver" is the sixth and last single from Mary Broadcast's concept EP PANIC. With the cycle of six songs and six videos, she and her indie pop rock band tell the painful but also inspiring story of a woman who has to reorganise her inner and outer world after a miscarriage. In the last song, "Aver," the protagonist goes through perhaps the most profound experience there is: the loss of a child. She finally finds herself in this experience, all the questions and feelings of the previous stories become meaningless. She surrenders herself completely to this pain in order to rise from it at the end. She finds catharsis at the end of the song cycle: „There was a veil”

“Bazar" is the fifth and penultimate single from Mary Broadcast's concept EP PANIC, a cycle of six songs and six videos. “Bazar" is a dialogue with a higher power, a search for the innermost truth and the answer to the recurring question of: “Why?”. The protagonist Aver, again disappointed and desperate, seeks this dialogue with the higher power and with her own inner voice. Is it all just a big game in a bazaar? What is her role in this Bazar and why does everyone else seem to have more luck, more success and always be in the right place at the right time? Aver is on a journey of self-discovery in this song. She cries her desperate wish: "I want to be what you are".

On September 3, 2021 the indie label Between Music will release “Sing It”, the fourth single from Mary Broadcast's concept EP PANIC, a cycle of six songs and six videos. “Sing It” is the desire to fully recognize yourself and the other and never lose yourself again.
The band leader and guitarist created a fictional character for the EP: Aver is a strong woman who, after a stroke of fate, desperately searches for love and the way back to life. Three episodes of the story have already been told. The song and the video for “Panic” stylized the collapse (“Oh my god it's over now”), while in “Zone 4” (43,000 views on Youtube!) the lonely aversion in the vastness of the internet is lost (“Here I am, I'm naked). In the third single "Bastille" she met her great love and gave herself up ("You’re Bastille is my Bastille").
In the current song "Sing It" she is afraid that she might be disappointed by love again. But this time she digs deeper and discovers herself and her companion as "You're the song you never sang / I'm the song I never sang". The song becomes a hymn and the desperate desire to truly recognize the other and yourself in love for one another and never lose your partner again - “Sing it for me”!

On May 28, 2021, the indie label Between Music will release "Bastille". The song will be the third single from Mary Broadcast's concept EP PANIC, a cycle of six songs and six videos. "Bastille" is an ode to true love, a multi-layered song about the old adage that opposites attract and about how love knows how to merge two people.
For the EP, the band leader and guitarist has created an art figure who processes her experiences. Aver is the name of the protagonist of the stories in the songs and the corresponding videos. After the breakdown in the first single "Panic" ("Oh my god it's over now") and the lonely Aver, that loses herself in the vastness of the Internet in the second single "Zone 4"("Here I am, I'm naked"), she now meets her great love. The lovers ignore their enormous differences and instead try to come to terms with their differences. As different as they are, they need each other, and eventually merge finally into one person. The never-boring message: love conquers all. Love is the strongest force. With rousing sound it is proclaimed: "You're Bastille is my Bastille".

About the concept EP PANIC
On April 16, 2021, the indie label Between Music will release "ZONE 4" - the second single from Mary Broadcast's concept EP PANIC, a cycle of six songs and six videos. With the EP PANIC, the bandleader and guitarist expands her commitment to social women's issues with a very personal dimension. With the cycle of six songs and six videos, she and her indie pop-rock band tell the painful but also inspiring story of a woman who has to re-sort her inner and outer world after a miscarriage. The panic triggered by this profound experience is also suitable as a metaphor for the emotional world in today's age of isolation.
About the single ZONE 4
In "Zone 4" we take up the topic of communication on the net. Dystopian sounds and lyrics mix with more tones - the perfect soundtrack for the current reality of life, in which everything seems to be happening online.
