Walk Upright über sich
Walk Upright is a guitar band from Hackney, currently living in London and Vienna.
We mainly make loud, messy immediate music, inspired by the skewed sensibilities of the Super Furry Animals, the ire of Mclusky, the sharp-tongued pop attack of the Attractions and the savage abandon of the Sonics.
Our songs are about modern life, and the shit that it does to you. We stand with the underdogs - people ground down by the reality of modern life. These songs are meant for you. We hope they make you feel a little better.
Our first album will come out in early 2018. It was written and self-produced at our timeshare studio in Leyton, east London, part of a ' live/work warehouse for artists. Apologies to our neighbours for the noise.
