Wires is the moniker of Vienna based, Scottish singer-songwriter, Ed McGuire
He writes jagged, guitar-spangled indie pop anthems.
The strong melodies and power pop influences of Scottish indie guitar bands such as The Fratellis, Teenage Fanclub, The View, Frightened Rabbit and Travis shine through in Eds song-writing.
Wires released 2 EPs between 2012 and 2014, Short Terms Pleasures and Bad Signs.
Night Terrors, released in 2019, is his first full length LP.
